Backpacking campout
On June 21, 2013, troop 102 went backpacking about 2.5 miles to whiskey creek cabin, where we set up our tents for the night. Then next day, we had breakfast and broke camp. We hiked with our backpacks for about a mile and ate lunch by the river. Then we hiked the rest of the way back to the parking lot, stopping once to refill on water.

Treasure hunt
March 30,
The boy scouts went over to Bob Lebel's house to do a treasure hunt using scouting skills. We had tostart a fire, make a stretcher to carry someone in, use a compass, lift someone by tying a rope around them, and drag a log down a road (using rope) to finally dig a pot full of candy out of the ground. Afterwards, we cooked hot dogs.
